A bounty hunter was hospitalized in serious condition Wednesday night after he was shot in the back at while working in working in the city’s Planeview neighborhood.
Emergency dispatchers said the victim, a man in his late 20s, was shot shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Munger, which is southeast of Pawnee and Hillside.
The man’s female partner drove him to Via Christi Hospital on Harry, and he was later transferred to Via Christi on St. Francis.
Police were interviewing the partner and several other witnesses in an effort to find the shooter. Dispatchers said they did not know who the man was looking for when he was shot.
