Newt Gingrich is a real hypocrite. He didn’t mind trashing Bill Clinton for his infidelity. Now that the media are asking questions about his infidelity, he is coming unglued. If he can’t take the heat without throwing a tantrum, he should get out of politics. A word to Gingrich: The women voters in America are listening and watching.
CNN moderator John King asked Gingrich about something Gingrich’s second ex-wife said. It was an indelicate question, but one that was aimed at determining Gingrich’s moral makeup. Gingrich attacked the moderator, CNN and the media in general. He didn’t, however, answer the question. When the stated objective is to get rid of President Obama, the morality of the candidates doesn’t seem to matter to Republicans.
Gingrich didn’t do anything that Clinton and Anthony Weiner did, but the Republicans seem to be called on the carpet for their affairs. The Democrats slide right on by. Double standards. That’s the liberal media for you. I’m glad Gingrich is putting these ridiculous news people in their places.
I did not think I could possibly care for anything less than an endorsement from Sarah Palin. Then her husband, Todd, makes an endorsement. Never say never.
Saying that I don’t agree with your fascist, socialist or communist viewpoint does not mean I’m a racist.
With all of the political experts the media consult and their words of wisdom, why don’t they run for office?
Is the current White House administration the enemy within?
I see that Boeing is already running into problems with the Air Force for trying to increase profits by shortchanging the development process on the tanker. I hope that none of our Kansas legislators lift a finger to help the company. To the contrary, now that we know that Boeing cannot be trusted, our legislators should support the Air Force.
I found it odd so much was said about the photo of troops urinating on dead enemy soldiers. OK, it wasn’t “nice,” but why must men who risk their lives and sacrifice so much be called on the carpet over a lapse in judgment? Perhaps we need to slap the person who made the video public.
If you make less than $25,000, you need every penny for basic living costs. You should not have to pay income tax.
Arthur Laffer is so laughable. Anyone who knows history knows that his economic theories and practices didn’t work during the Reagan administration. Even Reagan admitted that. He had to raise taxes to offset the mess Laffer’s voodoo economics got this country into. I cannot believe people are still listening to him. I guess we could live like Alaska, where it is so expensive that in some areas milk is $11 a gallon, not to mention the price of fuel. What a joke.
Both Dillons and Walmart need some law enforcement for their parking lots during the day before something bad happens, such as a person becoming injured or a vehicle being damaged.
What a shame that Meryl Streep joined the crude and lewd with her comments on the Golden Globes.
Love those awards shows. Maybe next year there will be an awards ceremony to present an award to the best awards show of the year.
