The pink fire truck will be on the move Saturday, taking a 7-year-old girl suffering from cancer from her Wichita home to a fundraiser chili feed in Mulvane.
At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, the truck will pick up Hannah Clark and take her to the First Baptist Church, 1020 N. Second St., Mulvane. The chili feed will be from noon to 6 p.m. Donations will go to defray Hannah’s medical expenses, organizers said.
The pink fire truck is used for events by the Wichita chapter of the Guardians of the Ribbon, a nonprofit that supports women who have all forms of cancer. Former Wichita and Sedgwick County firefighters and their spouses help with the project.
