So Kansas is giving Bombardier Learjet $16 million in incentives, and the company plans to hire 100 new workers in the near future. Has anyone in our state government ever taken a math class?
I find it a little ironic that Gov. Sam Brownback initially used a Beech aircraft and then a Cessna aircraft Tuesday to deliver $16 million in incentives to Bombardier Learjet.
Government sprinkles tax giveaways around town and the county to stimulate new businesses. Then it destroys existing companies with incessant road projects that should be finished in half the time. When will the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce work to stop this?
The very fact that people have to go to the DMV to get their “free” voter ID is voter suppression. Not blaming the DMV workers, whose office budgets likely have been cut to the bone, but the computer system was down for more than one hour when I was there last. It was like time stopped.
Enough is enough. Must we see the same public service announcement day after day until state Treasurer Ron Estes is re-elected?
