Why don’t politicians show up when a business ceases to exist to ceremonially turn off the light switch? Or do they just like to cut the ribbon on a new business?
Boeing put the “zero” in “being.”
Forget being the Air Capital of the World. We are now the official YMCA Capital of the World. Congratulations, Wichita.
So Kansas is giving Bombardier Learjet $16 million in incentives, and the company plans to hire 100 new workers in the near future. Has anyone in our state government ever taken a math class?
I find it a little ironic that Gov. Sam Brownback initially used a Beech aircraft and then a Cessna aircraft Tuesday to deliver $16 million in incentives to Bombardier Learjet.
Government sprinkles tax giveaways around town and the county to stimulate new businesses. Then it destroys existing companies with incessant road projects that should be finished in half the time. When will the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce work to stop this?
The very fact that people have to go to the DMV to get their “free” voter ID is voter suppression. Not blaming the DMV workers, whose office budgets likely have been cut to the bone, but the computer system was down for more than one hour when I was there last. It was like time stopped.
Enough is enough. Must we see the same public service announcement day after day until state Treasurer Ron Estes is re-elected?
The progressives want to challenge and change our Constitution, while the Republicans want to follow the Constitution. Seems like the progressives want to be a failed nation, like those without a Constitution.
Rich people should not have started a class war, because they are the minority.
I like Tim Tebow – not because of his football but because he drives the liberals and atheists crazy.
Tebow bows his head. Another athlete leaps high for an imaginary slam dunk. Yet another performs a spontaneous dance. Why discriminate? They all express their beliefs. Have a problem with that.
Well, the gym is full of New Year’s “resolutioners” again. I give it two weeks this year till they’re out of the regulars’ way.
