Local leaders took their eye off the ball, spending efforts on downtown redevelopment rather than expanding and diversifying business and manufacturing.
We have had multiple opportunities to bring in other manufacturing jobs and businesses to help Wichita grow, but instead we have pushed our focus on partnerships with Boeing, Cessna, Beech and others. Who knew that Jesus liked football? Seems like he would like soccer more.
