I’m a pro-business guy, but it’s getting harder and harder to defend these corporations.

The union bosses, fat and coiffed, think this is some kind of silly game. They have sold out to the Democrats and their cronyism. Now see what they get? Well, nothing.

Those Boeing employees offered a relocation package to the new city would be crazy to turn it down.

To the politicians who are outraged that Boeing lied to them: Welcome to the crowd. That is all we get from you politicians – lies after lies after lies.

At least the Boeing workers losing their jobs have a year to prepare, unlike the Hawker Beechcraft employees who had no clue they were getting laid off until they came to work and were kindly given their walking papers and told to leave.

Corporations make crummy citizens, as evidenced shockingly by Boeing’s infidelity to Wichita. Real citizens care about their communities.

I suppose the Democrats will blame the Boeing departure on Bush.

Surely Rep. Mike Pompeo can come up with some tall tale and blame President Obama for Boeing’s departure from Wichita.

Boeing lied to the city of Wichita and the state of Kansas. Why would anyone want to do business with a liar?

Someone asked who paid Sarah Palin to keep quiet the past few months. I don’t know, but I’d send a few bucks in myself to keep her that way. The Republican Party comes across a lot smarter when her mouth is shut.

Isn’t it ironic that as the American family is sacrificing to make ends meet, Obama cuts only his choices but lavishly spends the taxpayers’ money for personal and political purposes? What an example of hypocrisy.

The U.S. government runs the biggest pyramid scheme there is: taxes.

House Speaker Mike O’Neal is a disgrace to our state for stooping so low in e-mailing remarks about our first lady. We wonder why our teens are bullying. Where did they learn it?

I don’t think O’Neal is sorry for his e-mail concerning the first lady, only that he got caught and had to apologize. He is an insult to our state and to his political party. He should be ashamed and I am confident there are many of us who are ashamed of him.

What parallel universe was O’Neal in when the high school girl tweeted about Gov. Sam Brownback? O’Neal should be thrown out of office for being clueless.

The people at 47th Street South don’t need my tax money to bring in more places to shop. They didn’t even shop enough at a Big Lots store to keep it open.

Maybe we are just tired of you nonsmokers trying to cram your political correctness down our throats. Isn’t it enough for you to have all restaurants and most public buildings?

If Mulvane is going to start a brothel, could it be next to my house?

Those who voted “no” for the casino should pay for the 1 percent revenue that Sedgwick County has lost to Sumner County.
