President Obama did not put this country on a wrong path. The Republicans blocked his every move. We really don’t know what he could have accomplished, do we?
Obama bypassed the Senate with his recess appointments. That’s what he has been doing for three years – bypassing the will of the American citizens while burying us in $15 trillion in debt. We cannot continue on this debilitating path of borrowing and spending.
I predict Sam Brownback’s campaigning for Rick Perry’s presidential bid will achieve the same results as Brownback’s campaigning for his own presidential bid. But I didn’t mind him going to Iowa. I just wish he would have stayed there.
Mitt Romney looks like a president. Rick Santorum looks like a grocery-store manager.
The kiss of death: Sen. John McCain endorses Romney for Republican candidate for president in 2012. One loser RINO (Republican in name only) supporting another RINO. What a sad, bad joke.
Wichita used to build bombers for Boeing. Now it just got bombed by Boeing.
Why the big surprise about Boeing? Corporations are just people (according to the U.S. Supreme Court), and some people are honorable, keeping their word. And some aren’t.
Since Boeing officials broke their promise with Kansas, it is time for Kansans to put their boots on and fight like real men. Let’s condemn Boeing’s land in Wichita, evict it from the plant, and give the facilities to Airbus for free. Then we can start building planes for Airbus and compete with Boeing head-to-head.
I would like to thank all the union members who ran up the cost of doing business so high that they ran the most iconic employer in the city’s history clean out of state.
Forget about this being the Air Capital of the World. We’re the anti-abortion capital of the world.
Wichita needs to expand its industries and not depend solely on the aircraft industry.
I want to thank WSU baseball coach Gene Stephenson for taking the time out his busy day on Tuesday to visit with me and my 8-year-old baseball player. He is a stand-up guy.
