The crime
Sometime between Monday night, Dec. 12, and Tuesday morning, Dec. 13, someone burglarized Granite Transformations, 3821 N. Hillcrest. The burglar or burglars used bolt cutters to cut the locks off three trailers in front of the business. Hand tools and construction supplies valued at more than $2,800 were taken. A second business nearby, that asked not to be named, also was burglarized during the same time period and in a similar manner. A 125-amp wire welder, valued at $1,500, was taken.
