Oklahoma State overcame a 12-point second-half deficit to beat Missouri State 72-67 on Wednesday night in Springfield, Mo.
Le'Bryan Nash led the Cowboys (6-2) with 19 points, and Kelton Page added 15. Jean-Paul Olukemi had 13 and Michael Cobbins 10.
Kyle Weems led Missouri State (5-3) with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Jarmar Gulley had 19 points.
A three-pointer by Gulley with 17:29 left gave Missouri State a 42-30 lead. But the Cowboys went on a 17-5 run, including seven points from Nash, to tie it at 47 with 12:03 left.
Gulley scored four of Missouri State's next five baskets, including a three-pointer, to put the Bears up 58-54 with 8:18 left.
A three-pointer by Page got the Cowboys back within 58-57 with 8:01 left. Nash tied the game at 58 when he made one of two free throws with 6:50 left.
After Missouri State went ahead 64-62 with 5:21 left, Oklahoma State closed the game with 10 free throws and held Missouri State to one field goal to complete the comeback in a game that included 10 ties and eight lead changes.
Oklahoma State was 31 of 41 from the free throw line, while Missouri State hit 19 of 26. Neither team shot better than 41 percent from the field.
Both teams looked sluggish over the first 15 minutes. Missouri State trailed 21-19 with 5:19 left in the half when the Cowboys' Markel Brown was called for a technical foul after Olukemi was whistled for a foul.
Weems made four straight free throws and to help give Missouri State a 29-23 lead with 2:27 left. He finished with 15 first-half points.
Oklahoma State was stunned by the turn of events and was outscored 15-6 after the technical was called. The Cowboys trailed 34-27 at halftime.
Missouri State continued to put pressure on the Big 12 team at the start of the second half, scoring the first five points to go up 39-27 with 17:55 left before Oklahoma State started its comeback.
