No. 10 Trinity Valley (8-2) vs. No. 3 Butler (10-1), 1 p.m. —It's the second year in a row for the Grizzlies in Pittsburg, but the first time since 2006 a team from the Jayhawk Conference won't be playing for the national title. Butler lost to Navarro in last season's title game and is 1-4 in its last five games against Texas schools.

Offensively, Butler is led by quarterback Chandler Whitmer (2,822 yards, 24 touchdowns) and the three-pronged rushing attack of Jasper Sanders (894 yards, 13 touchdowns), Derrick Thomas (743 yards, 6 touchdowns) and Heights product Dreamius Smith (653 yards, 9 touchdowns). Whitmer's favorite target this year has been wide receiver Kendall Wren, who has 55 catches for 1,159 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Butler defensive end Demarcus Lawrence has also had a solid season, and leads the team with 10 sacks.
