BREAKDOWN

The Rockets look like a prototypical Rose Hill team, with limited size and a promise to keep games relatively low scoring by playing strong defense and drawing out possessions that end with shots from the perimeter.

Rose Hill looks to have the personnel to match their pattern from recent seasons, when they've relied on outside shooting and post players to overcome their size disadvantages by playing physical. The backcourt is experienced, and Willson, who averaged more than 11 points, can score in a variety of ways.

The Rockets could be due for a slow start as it mixes in football players who had a deep run in the postseason. But with a veteran coach who gives them identity, the start might not be as slow as expected.

122-78 in nine seasons

PROBABLE STARTERS

G Kayla Justice 5-8 Sr.

TOP RESERVES

F Emily Harris 5-9 Sr.

G Lakynn Myers 5-7 Sr.

G Savanna Anschutz 5-6 Sr.

C Jessica Rushing 6-0 Jr.

BREAKDOWN

Rose Hill returns one starter, but it's probably the right one _ Kayla Justice, who averaged 14 points. She can handle the ball and shoot from the perimeter, and her presence gives the Rockets a foundation on which to build.

Also helping in those efforts should be Rushing, a factor in the post who averaged double-figure scoring. Rose Hill under Page has typically relied heavily on a post player, and Rushing can build on a strong sophomore season now that she has significant experience.

Beyond those two, Rose Hill is a collection of players who spent last season as reserves. That might not be too damaging, though, since two of them are seniors _ Harris and Myers _ that possess a variety of abilities and can make the Rockets more well-rounded.
