No. 18: Paul Esdale
The defenseman put together a remarkable season in 2004-05, his only year in Wichita. Esdale led Central Hockey League defensemen in points (69) and power-play goals (12), and led the league in plus-minus (+39).
He added yet another offensive threat on a team with one of the best lines in the league (Joe Blaznek, Travis Clayton, Jason Duda). Following the season, he was named the CHL's Most Outstanding Defenseman.
