The Kansas Humane Society has more than 50 cats and kittens available for adoption and will hold a special promotion Saturday, Nov. 5, to try to find homes for them.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., cats and kittens can be adopted without charge, with a limit of two cat adoptions per household. Free adoptions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until all felines are adopted or until 1 p.m.

All adoptions include spay and neuter surgery, necessary vaccinations and a microchip.

For more information, visit the Kansas Humane Society at 3313 N. Hillside, call 316-524-9196 or go online to www.kshumane.org.
