OKTOBERFEST WEEK: GERMAN POTATO SALAD

The month of October is traditionally the time for festivals and parties featuring German food and beer. This week, we'll share some recipes that will make your Oktoberfest party guests say "danke." Today's recipe comes from the Food Network's Bobby Flay.

INGREDIENTS

3 lbs new potatoes
1 yellow onion, quartered
1/2 lb bacon, diced
1 large red onion, diced
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon mustard seeds
1/4 cup canola oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper
8 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
