The owner of a garage in the section of Coffeyville that was devastated by a flood and oil spill four years ago has turned the structure into a sign that criticizes the Coffeyville Resources Refinery. A valve left on at the refinery allowed 80,000 gallons of oil to spill into the rising floodwaters of the Verdigris River in the summer of 2007. (Sept. 22, 2011)

The Coffeyville Resources refinery can be seen behind one of the only condemned house that's still standing after floodwaters and oil from the refinery flooded the southeast Kansas town in 2007.
