The Kansas State Fair isn't the only place that will offer good eats in nice weather this weekend. Here are three other options:
1. Zoobilee: Saturday's annual fundraiser for the Sedgwick County Zoo starts at 6 p.m. and features a long list of local restaurants, adult beverage purveyors and bands set up for an evening of grownup fun on the zoo grounds. Tickets are $125 and are available by visiting www.scz.org or by calling 316-266-8273.
2. Fall Fling Outdoor Market:
Earlier in the day on Saturday, local health food shop Food for Thought will offer an outdoor market featuring Kansas artisans, crafters and food from vendors. It's from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Food For Thought, 2929 E. Central. Admission is free, but bring spending money.
3. Old Cowtown's Wine Mosey: On Sunday, Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 W. Museum Blvd. will host its third annual Wine Mosey from 5 to 8 p.m. It will feature a barbecue dinner, a wine tasting, stagecoach rides, gun fights and more. Admission is $35 a person, and tickets are available at www.wichitatix.com.

Five Guys opens Monday
The new Old Town Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open at 10 a.m. on Monday. The restaurant, Wichita's third Five Guys, will be at 1025 E. Douglas, east of Washington. Hours will be the same as the east and west locations: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The phone number at the new restaurant will be 316-295-2866.
Andover Metro Grill is sold
Michael Gonzalez, the popular but recently troubled local chef known for his amazing sandwiches in the Towne East food court, has sold his Metro Grill II in Andover to employee Kevin McKee and his grandfather, Jim Boots. McKee started working at the Andover Metro Grill as an employee early this year and says he will continue with the original menu but is considering some additions in the future. Meanwhile, Gonzalez continues to own and operate the Metro Grill in Towne East.
Coming soon: La Fiesta
The vacant building at 6960 W. 21st St. that previously held La Mesa Mexican Restaurant will have a new tenant as of Nov. 5. La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant, a small regional chain with locations in Arkansas City, Wellington and in Oklahoma, will take over the space.
