Hawker Beechcraft Corp. has named Karin-Joyce "KJ" Tjon as chief financial officer.

Tjon, a corporate turnaround and restructuring specialist, joins the company's senior leadership team and is responsible for the management and direction of the company's finance and accounting operations.

She replaces Patrick Kelly who has served as interim chief financial officer since March. Sid Anderson, who was chief financial officer, resigned in January.

Tjon was most recently managing director of Alvarez & Marsal, in the firm's turnaround and restructuring practice in Miami.

Turnaround and restructuring can involve a variety of measures from cost cutting to restructuring debt to selling part or all of the company.

She has been chief financial officer at several companies and helped oversee the sale of at least two companies. She has an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in management and organizational behavior from Ohio University.
