HOMEMADE ICE CREAM WEEK: REESES PEANUT BUTTER CUP ICE CREAM

The kids will be back in school before you know it, meaning one thing: You're running out of time to make homemade ice cream. Get the job done this week with five days worth of ice cream recipes. Today's comes from the food blog "Recipe Girl."

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cups smooth peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated white sugar
1 1/4 cups whole milk
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chopped chocolate peanut butter cups (8 to 10 regular-sized peanut butter cups)
