Kim Kardashian wants Old Navy to stop using a look-alike to advertise its clothing.

The reality show starlet and model on Wednesday sued the clothing store and its parent company, The Gap Inc., in a Los Angeles federal court alleging their ads violated her publicity rights with ads that feature a woman who looks like her.

A video of a broadcast ad featuring a smiling, dark-haired woman who bears a resemblance to the real Kardashian has been viewed more than 2 million times on Old Navy's YouTube channel.

Kardashian's lawsuit claims consumers may be confused by the ads and the model's actual endorsements

The case cites all the benchmarks of modern celebrity: her 8 million followers on Twitter, more than 5 million fans on Facebook and ranking as one of the most searched-for celebrities on the Internet.

Chris Brown's role

It would have seemed improbable two years ago, but Chris Brown is coming to a theater near you in a romantic comedy.

The singer and actor will star alongside Steve Harvey, Gabrielle Union, Oscar-nominee Taraji P. Henson and Michael Ealy in "Think Like a Man." It's an adaptation of Harvey's best-selling book advice book for women, "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man."

The casting is another sign of Brown's remarkable comeback since his 2009 attack on girlfriend Rihanna, for which he pleaded guilty to assault.

Lohan has work to do

Actress Lindsay Lohan has completed just 33 hours of the 480 she must finish for her conviction on a necklace theft, and a judge warned her Thursday she must do it in a year, regardless of any movies she is committed to making.

L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner examined the actress's progress in her May sentence for misdemeanor shoplifting and questioned the pace of her community service.

Sautner noted Lohan had completed just four days of 45 she must serve at a skid row women's center and 15 at the county coroner's office.

Sautner also warned Lohan she had 21 days to get individual counseling or Sautner would schedule a hearing to revoke her probation.

Lohan's attorney Shawn Holley said the actress understands the one-year deadline and will get a counselor within 21 days.

Back to school

"Harry Potter" star Emma Watson says she plans to return to Brown University to complete her degree.

The British actress who plays Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" series tells The Virginian-Pilot that she remains enrolled at Brown even though she'll study at England's Oxford University in the fall.

She says intends to return to Providence in 2012 to complete her studies at the Ivy League school.
