The crime

Shortly after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, a black 2011 Ford Fusion was stolen from a business parking lot in the 2100 block of North Topeka. The suspects intentionally drove the vehicle into the Plaza Mexico shopping center at 828 W. 25th St. North. Damage to the shopping center exceeded $11,000.

The two suspects were wearing hoods and gloves, and covered their faces with clothing.
