WICHITA — University of Kansas basketball fans will gather at several area bars to watch tonight’s Sweet 16 game against the University of Richmond. Tip off is set for 6:27 p.m.
Many will gather at Larry Bud’s Sports Bar & Grill, 2120 N. Woodlawn, an official watch-party site, said Chip Budde, head of the Wichita chapter of the KU Alumni Association.
Madrocks Sports Bar, at 1820 E. Madison in Derby, also is an official watch-party site, Budde said.
He said younger alumni often head to the Back Alley Sports Grill, 11413 E. 13th St.
