The crime

Sometime between 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, and 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, a burglar or burglars struck Curtis Middle School, 1031 S. Edgemoor. The burglars were able to get into the school by breaking a window to one of the classrooms. Once inside, they stole 14 iPads, a laptop computer, a desktop computer and monitor, and other items. The loss is valued at more than $21,000.
