Wichita real estate agent Jamey Blubaugh was the big winner on this morning’s episode of “The Price is Right,” a game show on CBS and KWCH, Channel 12.

Blubaugh, who visited the show at the tail-end of a real estate conference in California in February, won the show’s “Showcase Showdown,” and his prize package included a sail boat, underwater cameras and a six-night vacation in Montserrat, an island in the Caribbean.

Blubaugh, wearing a purple Kansas State T-shirt, was called to “Come on down” early in the show and won a washer and dryer set to get out of “contestant’s row” and on stage to play a pricing game with the show’s host, Drew Carey.

Although he failed to win a new Mazda 6 during the “Lucky 7” game, he later qualified for the Showcase Showdown at the end of the show. He bid $24,346 on the prize package, which was valued at $26,365.

His opponent in the finale overbid on a trip/motorcycle package, which disqualified her.

Blubaugh, who jumped in jubilation and hugged his wife and brother on stage after winning, watched the show with about 100 friends and supporters in his Wichita offices on Wednesday morning.

He plans to take his wife on the trip this fall to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
