The crime

Between 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 16, and 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, someone broke into a storage area at Tex Consolver Municipal Golf Course, 1931 S. Tyler Road. The burglar or burglars gained access to the area by cutting a lock on the doors. Eight Yamaha golf carts, worth an estimated $28,000, were taken from the storage area.
