Wichita fire investigators believe the fire that destroyed a bathroom building in the closed Joyland Amusement Park Friday night was arson.

"There's no reason that it wouldn't be," said investigator Mark Reibenspies. "There wasn't any power on."

The fire was reported at 7:15 p.m. and was confined to the bathroom. No injuries were reported.

The park at 2801 S. Hillside was closed in 2006, and has often been the target of vandals and burglars.

The investigation continues.
