The crime
Sometime between Sunday, Dec. 26, and Tuesday, Jan. 4, someone broke into a residence in the 16400 block of West Kingsbury Lane in southwest Sedgwick County. The burglar forced open the back door and took two .30-30 rifles, a .22 caliber rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, a 47-inch television and a collection of various coins. The loss is estimated at $6,300 with an additional $900 in damage.
