The IRS hopes to return more than $691,000 to 681 Kansans whose refund checks bounced back in the mail.
In Sedgwick County, 111 people are due refunds totaling $129,631. The average refund is $1,168.
"We want to get this money to the people it belongs to," IRS spokesman Michael Devine said in a news release. "Checks are often returned to the IRS because a life change such as a marriage or divorce causes an address change."
To find out if you have a refund, see the list at Kansas.com. If you're on that list, go to www.irs.gov and click on the "Where's My Refund?" link. You'll need to enter information from your 2010 tax return.
Taxpayers without access to the Internet who think they may be missing a refund check can call the IRS Refund Hotline at 800-829-1954.
