— Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a credit union in east Wichita Thursday afternoon.

The Great Plains Credit Union at 3100 E. Central was robbed at 3:41 p.m., a Sedgwick County dispatcher said. The preliminary description of the suspect was vague: a black male wearing several layers of clothing.

KFDI reports the suspect was about 5-feet-9 and had a stocky build, and he was wearing a red and blue baseball cap.
