City officials are urging residents in the southwestern part of Wichita hit hardest by last Wednesday’s hail storm to have downed tree branches and limbs next to the curb by tonight.

City crews will begin picking up the branches on Tuesday, and they will not make repeat trips after passing through a neighborhood, officials said.

The boundaries of the area where pickups will take place are 31st Street South, Meridian and the south and east city limits, officials say.
