WICHITA — Machinists union's Local Lodges 733 and 774, which represent workers at Hawker Beechcraft and Cessna Aircraft, are hosting a labor rally today in Old Town at 4 p.m.

The rally will be on Second Street between Mosley and Rock Island.

The union is in contract talks with both companies.

Cessna is expected to deliver its final contract offer Monday to its Machinist union. The company's contract with the union expires Sept. 19.

Hawker and its union reopened talks a year before the current contract expires. The company is exploring moving Wichita work to Louisiana or Mississippi or outside the U.S.
