KANSAS CITY, Kan. —A 51-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman received a life sentence today for repeated federal drug trafficking convictions.
Deborah Jackson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm while trafficking drugs, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said. She admitted in her plea that her son helped her. The son, James Adam Jackson, was sentenced in March to 96 months in federal prison.
The Jacksons sold methamphetamine and stored firearms at their residence in the 2700 block of Espenlaub in Kansas City, Kan., while running their drug business, Grissom said. It was her third felony drug conviction.
