A 47-year-old Wichita man was arrested Friday evening for shooting a scooter-riding neighbor.
According to the police, a 43-year-old man reported that he was riding a scooter in the 800 block of South Lightner Drive near his home when a neighbor came out of his house and fired two shots at him.
One shot hit him in the leg. He was taken to Wesley Medical Center with minor injuries.
Police found the suspect and arrested him for aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a felon.
