RETAIN wraps up dog wash, seeks items for garage sale

  • Published Saturday, Sep. 4, 2010, at 12:03 a.m.

Today is the last day for the RETAIN summer dog wash at Heartland Animal Hospital, 4100 N. Woodlawn in Bel Aire.

Between 1 and 4 p.m., weather permitting, volunteers will shampoo, rinse and towel off dogs for a requested donation of $4 for a small or medium-sized dog and $5 for a large dog.

RETAIN is now collecting items for its annual fall garage sale, planned for Sept. 23-25 at 615 S. Roosevelt.

Proceeds help pay for spaying and neutering of pets whose owners can't afford the surgeries.

To donate items or for more information, call Jerry at 316-682-2249.
