Traffic tie up at 13th and Tyler

Drivers headed to Northwest High School for tonight’s game might want to allow extra time, due to a traffic tie up at 13th and Tyler.

Emergency dispatchers say a vehicle hit a light pole earlier today. Work on the light pole has tied up westbound traffic on 13th, east of Tyler, in front of the school for a couple of hours.

Workers hope to have the work completed soon, dispatchers said.
