WICHITA — Police are investigating the circumstances behind the severe beating of a 64-year-old man who was found bleeding in the front yard of his south Wichita home early this morning.
The man was discovered by a neighbor just after 1:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Bonn, police said. A police report stated he was "bleeding profusely" from his face from an unknown cause, though authorities suspect he was beaten.
He was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, where he is in serious condition.
