Governor to speak at Nonprofit Chamber event in Wichita

WICHITA — Gov. Mark Parkinson will be the keynote speaker this month at the Nonprofit Chamber of Service "Neighbor Helping Neighbor Appreciation Breakfast."

The event is scheduled for Sept. 15 at Wichita State University's Marcus Welcome Center.

Parkinson will speak about the value of the nonprofit sector and its leadership in promoting neighbor helping neighbor.

The event begins at 8:45 a.m. The cost is $30 for Nonprofit Chamber members; $70 for nonmembers.
