What Leonard Pitts failed to mention in his Aug. 30 column was how appalled the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. would be today. Many employers won't hire you if you're too old or too young, or have tattoos or piercings, are of the wrong political party, wrong race, wrong religion, wear clothes that are too stylish or not stylish enough, or smoke when you are off the clock. But the good news is: If you are older and have a job already, you can play on the Internet during working hours.

Mothers, sisters, wives, girlfriends: Please tell your men that wearing sagging pants and showing us their choice of underwear is stupid, ugly and vulgar. Thank you.
