Where you get the record: From the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. You may search online at www.accesskansas.org/kbi. Click on the "KBI PI Licensing" link on the left side of the home page and then on the "KBI PI License Verification Page" link. You may search by detective name, agency name, city or county.
How much it will cost: The information is free.
