In the past three decades, KU has swapped "nice" coaches such as Terry Allen, who had a player who fall asleep on the bench during a game, for "tough" ones like Mark Mangino, who resigned in December following allegations of player abuse. Now comes Turner Gill, who some KU fans fear will duplicate his 20-30 record at Buffalo.
