I pass the Keeper two to three a day and always take the time to appreciate it as a unique Wichita feature. It's so striking and iconic you can't take a bad picture of it. I'm glad it's an easy walk down to it.

I went with my grandson, Ethan, to the Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibit. He discovered the giant dog display had a slide on his tail. Ethan's favorite things are the color red, doggies and slides. You can't get much happier than this two year old when he was sliding down the tail of a big red dog!

This is my dog Samson. He is the most wonderful dog in the world and brightens my day to the fullest everyday. He loves everyone, and everyone loves him. He is the biggest snuggle bunny in the world, and I am so thankful for him.

This is a photo of my mother and me at Christmas. She had ovarian cancer and died last September. Even though she was suffering, we found time to laugh. I was stuffing candy in my mouth in an attempt to make her laugh.

This is the best photo I have ever taken and it's my grandson! He is oblivious to everything around him except how great the water feels on a hot day. He is such a beautiful child, and I laugh and often cry because it's a shot of what every child should be able to feel. I'm so glad he does.

I took this photo (and many others) at my little sister's home in Decatur, Ill. These are photos she wanted taken to commemorate her journey with breast cancer. Although she looks like she might be sad, these photos make me happy that she wanted me to take them. I was honored to take them. She is beating this breast cancer thing with strength, dignity and grace!

My two grandsons were enjoying a trip to Yellowstone National Park. This was their first trip, and they got to see a lot of animals in the wild. Their favorite thing was getting to see a grizzly bear swim across the Yellowstone River.
