The Kansas Chamber Political Action Committee endorsed dozens of candidates Tuesday.
All of them are Republicans.
"These individuals are committed to reducing government spending and growing jobs in Kansas," said Kansas Chamber Interim President and CEO Kent Beisner. The chamber lobbied against the sales tax increase passed in the last legislative session.
The chamber endorsed these candidates in Wichita: Kyle Amos, District 83, Steven Brunk, District 85, John Stevens, District 86, Joseph Scapa, District 87, Brenda Landwehr, District 91, Joe McLeland, District 94, Benny L. Boman, District 95, Phil Hermanson, District 96, Leslie Osterman, District 97, James Clendenin, District 98, Mario Goico, District 100, and Gene Suellentrop, District 105, all of Wichita.
It also endorsed these candidates in south-central Kansas: Cheryl Green, District 70, Rosalia; Marc Rhoades, District 72, Newton; Clark Shultz, District 73, Lindsborg; Don Schroeder, District 74, Hesston; John C. Grange, District 75, El Dorado; J. David Crum, District 77, Augusta; Kasha Kelley, District 79, Arkansas City; Ellen Janoski, District 80, Peck; Pete DeGraaf, District 81, Mulvane; Jim Howell, District 82, Derby; Steve Huebert, District 90, Valley Center; Daniel J. Kerschen, District 93, Garden Plain; Aaron Jack, District 99, Andover; Joe Seiwert, District 101, Pretty Prairie; Kyle D. Hoffman, District 116, Coldwater.

U.S. Rep. Jerry Moran, R-Hays, who is seeking the open U.S. Senate seat in Kansas, will be the guest speaker July 8 at Agri-Business Council of Wichita's luncheon meeting.
The event is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hyatt Regency Wichita and is open to the public. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
