WICHITA — A few Delano dwellers have expressed concern over the new business coming to the former Davis Furniture space, but Chris Ruffin says not to worry.

"It's going to be a restaurant and entertainment facility and a bar," says Ruffin, who is director of real estate for his father Phil Ruffin's Ruffin Properties. "It's not going to be just a bar."

The 15,000-square-foot space will be divided into a restaurant and a bar.

"The side with the bar is going to have live music," Chris Ruffin says.

The restaurant side will be open for lunch and dinner daily, with barbecue and an eclectic mix of other food.

Ruffin describes it as "kind of fun food."

Customers can eat in the bar as well as the restaurant.

There also will be an outside seating with a fire pit.

Ruffin will share more details as plans progress.
