WICHITA — The Wichita school district will be serving free meals to children from June 1 to July 30 at 40 locations.
There are no income or other qualifications for children under 18 to receive free meals, according to the school district.
Breakfast will include milk, cereal or bread and fruit or fruit juice. Lunch will consist of an entree, fruit, vegetable and milk.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture pays for the Summer Food Service Program.
