Thirty to 50 Bombardier Learjet employees will be laid off this summer, the company confirmed Thursday. The layoffs were part of a reduction announced in February and in April 2009. The employees had been repositioned into other jobs, said Bombardier spokeswoman Haley Dunne. Work in those positions is ending. Employees will be laid off sometime between June and August.
