WICHITA — Two men robbed the Bank of the West Branch on North Rock Road Thursday morning, authorities reported.

Two masked men entered the bank at 3055 N. Rock Road at approximately 10:16 a.m. and demanded cash from a teller, police said.

Both suspects are described only as masked men wearing black hooded sweatshirts. One of the robbers was armed with a handgun.

After the teller put cash in a bag the robbers brought with them, they left the bank and drove away in a white vehicle.

That vehicle was located a short time later about a block west of the bank in the 3000 block of North Longfellow.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Wichita Police Department at 316-268-4177.
