The Wichita Kennel Club will offer beginning conformation classes, teaching people how to prepare their dogs for a show, starting Tuesday.
Classes will be Tuesdays at 7 p.m. for six weeks at the kennel club, 3448 N. Emporia. The fee is $65. To make a reservation or for more information, call Treva Faires at 316-733-5855.
Yappy Days March 27 at Kansas Coliseum
The eighth annual Yappy Days, a day of fun for dogs and their owners, with contests, demonstrations and vendors, will be March 27 at the Kansas Coliseum, Pavilion II. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come by the WichitaPaws booth for treats and information on our new dog photo contest.
Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for kids 5-12 and free for ages 4 and under. Coupons worth $1 off adult admission are available at Pet Haven, 2524 W. 13th St. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations, on a leash and not in heat. —Compiled by Diane McCartney
