Business aviation in India is rebounding as large and small companies are resuming talks with business jet manufacturers as the economy shows signs of a sustained rebound, according to a new report.
There’s been a lot of buzz in the Indian business aircraft market, said Karan Singh, Business Aviation Association of India vice president. And Indian companies could conclude a number of deals before the end of the month.
Wichita-based Hawker Beechcraft, Cessna Aircraft and Bombardier Learjet sell aircraft into India and consider it an important emerging market.
When the economy fell, many companies slashed their travel budgets, including the use of private jets.
