The Farm Service Agency is offering 3.75 percent loans to farmers who suffered losses caused by storms this winter.
Producers in the affected counties have until Nov. 9 to apply.
Loans can restore or replace property and pay production costs associated with the disaster year. Applicants can borrow up to 100 percent of actual production or physical losses up to $500,000.
The counties include: Allen, Anderson, Atchison, Bourbon, Brown, Butler, Cherokee, Cheyenne, Clay, Crawford, Cowley, Decatur, Doniphan, Elk, Franklin, Gove, Graham, Greenwood, Jackson, Jefferson, Jewell, Labette, Linn, Logan, Lyon, Marshall, Miami, Morris, Nemaha, Neosho, Norton, Osage, Phillips, Pottawatomie, Republic, Rawlins, Riley, Shawnee, Sheridan, Wabaunsee, Wallace, Washington, Wilson, Woodson and Wyandotte.
These counties are also eligible: Chase, Chautauqua, Cloud, Coffey, Dickinson, Douglas, Geary, Greeley, Harvey, Johnson, Lane, Leavenworth, Marion, Mitchell, Montgomery, Ness, Osborne, Ottawa, Rooks, Scott, Sedgwick, Sherman, Smith, Sumner, Thomas, Trego, and Wichita.
