Thunder rallies, then loses 4-2

The Thunder battled back from a two-goal deficit to tie the score Saturday night against Colorado before losing 4-2 in Loveland, Colo.

Jason Reese scored midway through the second period for Wichita, and Joel Hanson's goal at 5:12 of the third made it 2-2.

Colorado regained the lead on a goal by Riley Nelson at 12:36, and added an empty-net goal with one second left.

The teams play again tonight in Colorado. The Thunder returns home Wednesday for another game against the Eagles.
