WICHITA — Two Wichita companies have been named recipients of the U.S. Chamber's Blue Ribbon Small Business Award.
Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates and iSi Environmental Services are among 75 recipients of the national award for 2010.
The award recognizes small businesses that have fewer than 250 employees and gross revenue of less than $20 million in 2008.
Recipients are selected for the award based on staff training and motivation, community involvement, customer service, and business strategies and goals.
Blue ribbon winners will go on to compete for the chamber's Dream Big Small Business of the Year award. Blue ribbon winners will compete for seven regional finalists awards, and that field will compete for the single award, the winner of which will be announced May 18 in Washington, D.C.
